They're part of me. I can't explain the thing but I'm certain that without Placebo I'm nothing^^ They help me when I was quite dead emotionnaly talking.

| I first heard about Placebo when I was 5 or 6 but I was too young, and I was affraid! X) So I really discovered them in 2003 with Sleeping With Ghosts and became a fan in 2004 when I first so them in concert in Arras. Then I saw them three other times (Lille 2006, Arras 2009, Lille 2009)
And I love Stefan Olsdal ;)

| And for those who missed the Studio SFR gig on October 28th, 2009, here is the link of this breathtaking acoustic session: http://www.live-concert.sfr.fr/video-concert-placebo-studio-sfr-concert Watch out, very high quality above... Not for the faint of heart! around 8'15 - other "Because I want you" version (my favourite one), pretty close to the one posted just above... No comment on "Never ending why".... just wanna cry... great version of "Twenty years" too around 30'25 Not fair to be that talented... gives me gooseflesh!! Mister Molko, please stop being that irritating!! | |

*raises hand* Me too! I first got into Placebo with Nancy Boy. That song was played all the time on the radio, on TV, etc. I remember being fascinated by Brian's androgynous style and voice. Then I lost track of them a bit although I still knew their hits. I finally went to see them in concert during the Meds tour and loved it. Took me another two years to see them again when they were second headliner to The Killers at Rock im Park last June. And they blew me away all over again. And then I saw them when they played in Munich last November. Great band, fantastic live. Not much more to say really.

| Anyone here go to the Stuttgarter Sternstunden last week?
It was brilliant! I always seem to forget how amazing Placebo are live and then I see them again and am reminded all over again. Setlist was terrific - I almost had a heart attack when I heard the first notes of Running up that hill! What a great surprise. It was also funny to watch Jared Leto being a total fan boy at the side of the stage - singing along, clapping, jumping, even dancing!!
