well no need for introduction .
It still a bit hard for me to talk about him today. Let me explain why ...
For me he was one of the best things that ever happened to music, and above all this he was a pure philanthropist even if everybody forgot about it.
He was the only music genius we've ever known during this century.
Words are sometimes not enough but you understand what i think :)
I was supposed to see him live on the 26th of August last year, after spending all my childhood with his music, his dance ... this was supposed to be my day dream.
That's why it still hard for me today, he left us too early, way too early.
But thanks to his musics, his lyrics, his dance, he'll never be fogotten and he will keep on living in all his fans' hearts.
anyway, sadness will fade and his genius, his musical revolution will stay forever :)

i liked his music a lot. was part of my childhood. i remember having my first walk man with 6-7.. and listening to "heal the world" all f***** day! shy

his sudden dead was a kinda shock.
but i think it was for every one.
it was too sudden.

it's always weird, to withness the death of famous ppl.
because it makes u realize, they are human after all...

it's also weird to think they are gone, physically...
but they aren't really.. because their voice is still there... and so many marks they left on the world...

ok, this is getting off topic and far too sentimental!

he was great! end of message
wink

molkoqueen, couldn't have said it better myself.
I was never a huge fan, some of his songs I liked, others I didn't. But then he died shortly after I've lost a loved one and that really touched me, also how he has died (will we ever know the truth about it?) - and that has changed my attitude towards his music. I watched "This is it" twice and bought all his albums.
He was a great artist despite all those rumours about his personal life. Period.

yes, really well said for both of you my dears ladies...
(sorry for replying ages after)
I hope that with time, people will stop seeing as a person he wasn't (talking about all the accusations he had to face, and that, important reminder, were never proved right!)
anyway.
I don't know if you had (but i bet you did) a new Michael Jackson album coming out in your country before Christmas... ? including "Breaking News", and "Hold my hands" in duo with Akon.
I'm really shocked about that, because Sony is not respecting the will of the Jackson family, nor what would have been the will of MJ if he was still alive (i mean he was a pure perfectionist, so if there are songs he didn't realize, it means they were not done for him, not achieved). Plus the single "Breaking News" is such a joke... It's clear it's not MJ's voice on it... The whole Jackson family is claiming it, and i think they'll start (or have started) suing Sony for that.
one year and a half after, It seems that people (Sony, but other too...) are still trying to take advantage of his death and i think it's really not respectful, and it's even demeaning to his memory.

(ok i'm done with complaining alone =P)

Oh yeah, that new single is really a bad joke! And didn't even Akon distance himself from the song?
I hate all those "new" records which come out after someone's death. It's so obvious that these albums are only there to make the record companies richer and richer.
