hum...got 1 question but dunno were to slip it in so I put it here

It seems many of that forum members speak quite a good English so my question is:

HOW MANY OF YOU DO USE A DICTIONNARY FOR WRITING IN THAT FORUM ? (Come on guilty ones, give yourself up! tongue)

as far as I'm concerned... I do quite often...innocent2

Got a very good one (www.wordreference.com) so if you wanna be an ace in English, you know what to do lmao lmao lmao lmao

I don't. It would be worrying if I did. Although I do admit that some words occur to me in German before they occur to me in English... I've clearly been living here too long grin

i don't use one
well except when we need to talk about something really precise (like computer things... you know what i mean)
but i've had the chance to have my brother being married to an aussie since i was something like 12 so it helps (i mean, it helped me to practize my english a bit, but it's still not perfect !)

I do sometimes as I tend to perfectionism... (I think that's a typical German thing again... We don't dare to speak a foreign language in public as long as we're not close to perfect.)

coming back to the "life" subject...
My question will sound strange I guess, but as we have the chance to have a forum with so many different nationality, I want to know your point of view :

As songbird was saying that she tend to perfectionalism and that this was a typical German thing... Do you think that some parts of our behaviour, let's say character, is determined by where we were born ? our should I say where we were raise ?
